I actually saw a style in a magazine that I liked but added to it to make it work with my daughters hair. <br />
<br />
Start by doing an exaggerated part to one side. You will have 2 sections in the front and 1 in the back. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-u-v8E-Xxb_k/TkM86HJKwUI/AAAAAAAADI4/jK2LM3lsFmE/s1600/hair+style.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-u-v8E-Xxb_k/TkM86HJKwUI/AAAAAAAADI4/jK2LM3lsFmE/s320/hair+style.png" width="320" /></a></div> Starting on one of the front sections twist the hair, twisting it all the way to the ends, secure with an elastic. Repeat to the other front section.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2gF3Q1PQAkw/TkM9HsBCHLI/AAAAAAAADI8/5SlFmeK2vak/s1600/hair+style+twist.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="294" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2gF3Q1PQAkw/TkM9HsBCHLI/AAAAAAAADI8/5SlFmeK2vak/s320/hair+style+twist.png" width="320" /></a></div> I forgot to take a pic of this next step, but pull all the hair (including the twists) back into a loose ponytail. Once you have the pony tail stick your finger between the head and elastic and pull the hair down through, should look like this;<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XoVBXluF5GE/TkM90MeX_xI/AAAAAAAADJM/gM249FwjpC8/s1600/hair+stly+pony+twist.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="286" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XoVBXluF5GE/TkM90MeX_xI/AAAAAAAADJM/gM249FwjpC8/s320/hair+stly+pony+twist.png" width="320" /></a></div> Take the remaining hair and wrap it around your fingers. (this part is the part I saw in the magazine)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-g4E86B8_KHA/TkM9Py9jFHI/AAAAAAAADJA/4nmCUM3pXZE/s1600/hair+style+messy+bun.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="243" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-g4E86B8_KHA/TkM9Py9jFHI/AAAAAAAADJA/4nmCUM3pXZE/s320/hair+style+messy+bun.png" width="320" /></a></div> See the hair between my fingers, pull that to the center of your bun, secure with a bobby pins. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zm64u_jsOVk/TkM9ZIFdZEI/AAAAAAAADJE/hurM3wnGw9k/s1600/hair+style+messy+bun+2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="157" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zm64u_jsOVk/TkM9ZIFdZEI/AAAAAAAADJE/hurM3wnGw9k/s320/hair+style+messy+bun+2.png" width="320" /></a></div><br />
This is the finished product. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XrD7-2TSX2A/TkM9n7bjMKI/AAAAAAAADJI/Ig8G7XnKo6U/s1600/hair+style+finished.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XrD7-2TSX2A/TkM9n7bjMKI/AAAAAAAADJI/Ig8G7XnKo6U/s320/hair+style+finished.png" width="240" /></a></div> We added a bow for fun. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lm_4_ErovMU/TkM-H6CinVI/AAAAAAAADJQ/gNIItQ7adN0/s1600/hair+stlye+bow.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lm_4_ErovMU/TkM-H6CinVI/AAAAAAAADJQ/gNIItQ7adN0/s320/hair+stlye+bow.png" width="318" /></a></div>It looks complicated and like it took a long time but it only takes about 10 mins. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fFZRJiFNFBM/TkNDhLYDQcI/AAAAAAAADJU/wnRVDLoS0PY/s1600/Ryne+1st+grade.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fFZRJiFNFBM/TkNDhLYDQcI/AAAAAAAADJU/wnRVDLoS0PY/s320/Ryne+1st+grade.png" width="305" /></a></div>Here's a front shot, she got lots of compliments about her hair, but the best part is that it stayed in for all of school!! So there it is hope ya like it. <br />

Monday's however are a little better, for starters it's late start day my daughter doesn't have to be to the bus till 9:30 so we are up with plenty of time to do hair! So I am going to make a goal of posting a new style every Monday (and some weekends). <div><br /></div><div>To start us off we are having our family pictures done on the 19th so I have been playing around with some styles. </div><div><br /></div><div>I didn't take step by step shots but it was really simple, all I did was separate a front section of hair. Then starting on one side I french braided it only I didn't pick up hair from both sides just one leaving it raised and creating a kinda crown on her head.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-iZi_7swYLbs/TXVXuCkGyoI/AAAAAAAACmI/C2lC_Yse8K4/s1600/Bows%2B105.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-iZi_7swYLbs/TXVXuCkGyoI/AAAAAAAACmI/C2lC_Yse8K4/s320/Bows%2B105.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5581463761669507714" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Here you can kinda see the braid. I've had it since May!! I decided today would be the day to pull it apart and make one for hair.<div><img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TTt5-9KOlsI/AAAAAAAACbs/TZHHycyKmTQ/s320/Bows%2B001.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5565175887022692034" /></div><div>Things you'll need:</div><div><br /></div><div>Felt</div><div>scissors </div><div>hot glue gun</div><div>hair clips<br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">1. Start by cutting 7 circles, 3 large (4in), 2 medium (3in), 2 small (2)</div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TTt5-enaWkI/AAAAAAAACbk/kFToCv3unHk/s1600/Bows%2B002.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TTt5-enaWkI/AAAAAAAACbk/kFToCv3unHk/s320/Bows%2B002.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5565175878823598658" /></a>2. Take one circle fold in half then in half again, then trace or freehand the design of your petal. (This one was a stair step with a point kinda thing)<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TTt59-wvRuI/AAAAAAAACbc/AsFqu7XyDW8/s1600/Bows%2B005.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TTt59-wvRuI/AAAAAAAACbc/AsFqu7XyDW8/s320/Bows%2B005.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5565175870272784098" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;">3. When you open them up make 2 little slits on either side of the petal, do this to all 4 petals. French braid the right section to the crown then finish braiding to the end of the hair. <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TNhrX8K4UMI/AAAAAAAACKs/fwgnX3PICYw/s1600/Facebook+Photos+737.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TNhrX8K4UMI/AAAAAAAACKs/fwgnX3PICYw/s320/Facebook+Photos+737.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537293800884949186" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TNhrXryW1rI/AAAAAAAACKk/V87xneTYAtI/s1600/Facebook+Photos+739.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TNhrXryW1rI/AAAAAAAACKk/V87xneTYAtI/s320/Facebook+Photos+739.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537293796487124658" border="0" /></a>2) Comb the left section into a side pony tail and bring the braid across and secure with an elastic.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TNhrXC94OQI/AAAAAAAACKc/JyWsVh-dgUc/s1600/Facebook+Photos+740.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TNhrXC94OQI/AAAAAAAACKc/JyWsVh-dgUc/s320/Facebook+Photos+740.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537293785529596162" border="0" /></a>3)It's hard to tell but I braided the side pony tail and made a bun, I let the ends stick out for that messy look.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TNhrW0kBaxI/AAAAAAAACKU/wycPbW3tTBs/s1600/Facebook+Photos+741.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TNhrW0kBaxI/AAAAAAAACKU/wycPbW3tTBs/s320/Facebook+Photos+741.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537293781663050514" border="0" /></a>Add an accessory, and your good to go.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TNhrWVrsuEI/AAAAAAAACKM/4j59Qpo72LU/s1600/Facebook+Photos+743.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TNhrWVrsuEI/AAAAAAAACKM/4j59Qpo72LU/s320/Facebook+Photos+743.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537293773373749314" border="0" /></a><br />Originally this style was going to be 2 french braids brought into pig tails but my fingers just didn't want to braid one side, and we ran out of time so I improvised. I told her I hadn't really been into it lately and she told me to go get the camera so I did. This style isn't anything grand but it's cute and it was quick and easy. I didn't take step by step pictures, but if there's any confusion just let me know and I can do step by step.<br /><br /><br />1) Start by making an exaggerated part, go to about the crown of the head, like so.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TM80XKG1IEI/AAAAAAAACHE/mmTafjKZhWQ/s1600/Facebook+Photos+734.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 215px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TM80XKG1IEI/AAAAAAAACHE/mmTafjKZhWQ/s320/Facebook+Photos+734.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534700039516266562" border="0" /></a><br />2) Pull the side pieces down and secure with elastic, then pull them back into a pony tail. <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TM8ynj-tTZI/AAAAAAAACG8/-2wkGMyy9jM/s1600/Facebook+Photos+732.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 302px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TM8ynj-tTZI/AAAAAAAACG8/-2wkGMyy9jM/s320/Facebook+Photos+732.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534698122316172690" border="0" /></a><br />3)Once you have your pony tail take a small section of hair, then divide it into 2 sections, then twist both pieces to the left. Take your left twisted piece and cross it over your right piece, continue all the way down, always crossing left over right, this creates your twist, secure each twist with an elastic. I made 4 twists. <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TM8ynMScfwI/AAAAAAAACGs/rj23KlN5zPc/s1600/Facebook+Photos+730.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 142px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TM8ynMScfwI/AAAAAAAACGs/rj23KlN5zPc/s320/Facebook+Photos+730.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534698115956506370" border="0" /></a><br />4) I took one of the twists and circled it around the pony tail covering the elastic, and secured it with bobby pins. <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TM8ynSz8gyI/AAAAAAAACG0/omu0zYKJYBA/s1600/Facebook+Photos+729.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 213px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TM8ynSz8gyI/AAAAAAAACG0/omu0zYKJYBA/s320/Facebook+Photos+729.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534698117707629346" border="0" /></a><br />And that's it, and easy, simple yet cute pony tail. Back view<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TM8ymiwuD6I/AAAAAAAACGk/Che2tr5zEpY/s1600/Facebook+Photos+730-1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 187px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TM8ymiwuD6I/AAAAAAAACGk/Che2tr5zEpY/s320/Facebook+Photos+730-1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534698104809197474" border="0" /></a><br />Front shot. And for anyone wondering she does not have black eyes, it's from her Halloween makeup!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TM8ymFia7EI/AAAAAAAACGc/ZsGFp6sd_iw/s1600/Facebook+Photos+731.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 311px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TM8ymFia7EI/AAAAAAAACGc/ZsGFp6sd_iw/s320/Facebook+Photos+731.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534698096964594754" border="0" /></a>Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01590037624570903313noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8402232272477650474.post-53541179735537762762010-10-11T13:00:00.000-07:002010-10-11T13:21:27.408-07:00Curly or straight?I use to have beautiful natural curly hair. I absolutely loved it at least as an adult as a teenager I didn't care for it to much! Anyway it was so easy to manage and if I was in a hurry all I had to do was spray and scrunch, but after I had my 3rd baby my curl decided to be curly no more. That's why I decided to cut it short, if I'm gonna blow dry it I want it to be fairly quick. Anyway yesterday I decided to try something different and let it dry naturally then I curled some little sections with a curling iron. It didn't take very long and it turned out cute, I got <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">several</span> comments on it, someone even said they couldn't decide if they liked it curly or straight better! That made me feel good and it was nice to have curly hair again.<br /><br />When I got up this morning I thought the curl would be gone or it would be super frizzy but it wasn't. I just sprayed it with a little hair spray separated some of the curls and this was my result..<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TLNs1d-cV7I/AAAAAAAACBU/Hn_WpE4K7KY/s1600/GetAttachment.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 157px; height: 158px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TLNs1d-cV7I/AAAAAAAACBU/Hn_WpE4K7KY/s320/GetAttachment.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5526880833549129650" border="0" /></a>It was nice to not have to re- straighten it (something usually have to do daily). My hubby doesn't usually notice(or care) how I style my hair so I was pleasantly surprised when he asked if I was going to style it like this more! That is the best compliment a girl can get!!<br /><br />So what do you think curly or straight?<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TLNxQvW9AVI/AAAAAAAACBo/E-kyehx5aGw/s1600/California+Trip+146.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TLNxQvW9AVI/AAAAAAAACBo/E-kyehx5aGw/s320/California+Trip+146.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5526885700118315346" border="0" /></a>Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01590037624570903313noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8402232272477650474.post-51356484913757750562010-06-12T16:33:00.000-07:002010-06-12T16:47:55.880-07:00New color and cut.I am in Idaho visiting my parents for the summer, it has been so much fun. We had a blast, Thank you Grandma J.<br /><br /><br />I had all the red stripped out of my hair, I decided to go back to my natural color of light brown with blond highlights, I love it, it turned out so nice. Here's a side view...<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TBQa1BhcVgI/AAAAAAAAB1c/U4QFxN_kq0o/s1600/GetAttachment.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/TBQa1BhcVgI/AAAAAAAAB1c/U4QFxN_kq0o/s320/GetAttachment.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5482036144660829698" border="0" /></a>Front, sorry these aren't the best pictures, they are from my phone. So I am looking to get a new one, I am researching and hoping to find one that will last me longer than 2 yrs that seems to be how long the ones in the past work, we are also saving up for it as well which will take a couple of months. So be patient I will be back with more styles.Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01590037624570903313noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8402232272477650474.post-24040601867106142062010-04-09T22:35:00.000-07:002010-04-09T22:42:34.709-07:00School Picture/before shot<div style="text-align: center;">I got my kids school pictures today!!So this is my daughters I realized while looking at this picture how much I miss her pretty long hair *sniff*sniff. So these are the best pictures I could get of the "self hair cut"...<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/S66WmUcaPvI/AAAAAAAABi0/lQ-DFgv7uAg/s1600/Facebook+Photos+479.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/S66WmUcaPvI/AAAAAAAABi0/lQ-DFgv7uAg/s320/Facebook+Photos+479.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5453461783859314418" /></a>Why do they always go for the front!?<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/S66WmAJnBzI/AAAAAAAABis/ZRDgaROrjos/s1600/Facebook+Photos+480.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/S66WmAJnBzI/AAAAAAAABis/ZRDgaROrjos/s320/Facebook+Photos+480.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5453461778411751218" /></a>She took chunks out of the rest of her hair as well, I just didn't get a pic of that the front was the worst of it.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/S66WlukI8QI/AAAAAAAABik/EzuYNRL9WZc/s1600/Facebook+Photos+481.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/S66WlukI8QI/AAAAAAAABik/EzuYNRL9WZc/s320/Facebook+Photos+481.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5453461773691187458" /></a>And on to the hair cut. It's good to be back, but I probably won't be posting many styles, ya see my daughter decided that she wanted short hair and so she did a self hair cut! She cut the front pretty much down to the scalp, and then she just took chucks from the rest of it. She has been wanting short hair for a long time now, she just got tired of waiting I guess, I will be taking her in to see what can be down to blend it, and I am not sure how much hair we are going to have to play with. But stay tuned.Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01590037624570903313noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8402232272477650474.post-36873812506671602782010-01-28T12:56:00.001-08:002010-02-12T12:51:04.450-08:00Diagonal Dutch braid<div style="text-align: center;">YEAH!! A new hair style ;) This is is really easy.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">1) Do a diagonal part, from one side of the head to the other, ending just behind the ear on the opposite side, like this;</div><img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/S2H6aepDnAI/AAAAAAAABb0/YWsJ0nYnDfE/s320/Facebook+Photos+467.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 317px; height: 320px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431897958394338306" />2) Do a dutch braid on the front section of hair. I did a chunky dutch braid by taking bigger sections of hair, you can do whatever you want, it just depends on the look ya want and also how much time ya have, also you can braid all the way to the end of the hair if you want I didn't. So this is what it should look like so far;<img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/S2H6Z1BN2aI/AAAAAAAABbs/XJb12lP2RDc/s320/Facebook+Photos+469.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 210px; height: 320px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431897947221383586" />3) Then pull half of the remaining hair into a pony tail make sure to include the braid. You can leave it, or you can curl it like we did add a bow and your done. <img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/S2H6ZQNUtII/AAAAAAAABbk/OJDg5Jvngxw/s320/Facebook+Photos+470.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 233px; height: 320px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431897937340052610" />Front shot. <img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/S2H6YxFZncI/AAAAAAAABbc/BCpl6r1RIVc/s320/Facebook+Photos+473.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 162px; height: 320px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431897928985320898" /><div style="text-align: center;">Don't forget to check out my <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/put2getherbyheather"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFCCFF;">Etsy Shop</span></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFCCFF;">!!</span></div>Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01590037624570903313noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8402232272477650474.post-29866669193968108962010-01-26T11:34:00.000-08:002010-01-26T11:41:59.519-08:00Etsy and styles<div style="text-align: center;">I apologize for not posting new hair styles, I have been working hard to get some bows and hats made for my <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/put2getherbyheather">Etsy</a> shop, I still have more to make especially with Easter coming up, but right now I have some sweet Valentines Day bows check it out, you can click on my etsy button on my right side bar. I love simple and elegant for pictures, ya don't want to get get to fancy or all people will notice is the hair and not your beautiful little girl!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">1. First I did an exaggerated side part. I then French Braided the section, instead of pulling small sections of the hair up I took BIG chunky sections creating a looser and more full braid. You can do what you want depending on the look you want.</div><img src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/Sx6KN7e-esI/AAAAAAAABEA/S_Hl9fDQrB4/s320/Facebook+Photos+112.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5412915774056463042" />2. This style is the basic Indian braid but changed up a little, I saw this on a blog awhile ago I would love to give that person credit but I have know clue who it was. I like the little change, it helps to keep the shorter hair in the front back in the braid. I do love this style it is really quick, it's great when your in a hurry or ya just don't really feel like being super creative, this is also a good style for camping.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>1. Part the hair down the middle, secure one side out of the way while you work with the other side.</div><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/SxRH_dPRyfI/AAAAAAAABAk/7ofp6cTOaO8/s320/Facebook+Photos+082.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410028207884847602" />2. Part a small front section of hair and braid, you can do any kind of braid you want, French braid, dutch braid, fish bone braid, or even twisting it work well with this style. <img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/SxRH-y4DREI/AAAAAAAABAc/8-WCU8YPXuE/s320/Facebook+Photos+084.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410028196513137730" />I did a dutch braid, braid down as far as you can.<br /><img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/SxRHlXloRXI/AAAAAAAABAU/LXiDazzNA-k/s320/Facebook+Photos+085.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410027759691384178" />3. Take the back section of hair and braid it like you would with an Indian braid adding the front braid like this...<br /><img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/SxRHkygd8II/AAAAAAAABAM/zmwRJfldHWg/s320/Facebook+Photos+086.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410027749737623682" />This is what it should look like, when you have it done. Do steps 1-3 on the other side and your done. <img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/SxRHkaMAsPI/AAAAAAAABAE/a6rsxcIskuQ/s320/Facebook+Photos+089.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410027743209369842" />Back.<img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/SxRHjx-qi2I/AAAAAAAAA_8/S1EMWSmTCTc/s320/Facebook+Photos+088.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410027732415974242" />Front. Hope ya enjoy. <div><img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ANF5umFuUDA/SxRHjTZkztI/AAAAAAAAA_0/tQ_tbhwbK-c/s320/Facebook+Photos+087.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410027724207345362" /></div>Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01590037624570903313noreply@blogger.com4
